Merle Guttmann
Chairperson
M.S.W. Social Planning (Bar Ilan University). B.A. Anthropology and French (Cape Town University, South Africa). Chairperson of Etza and a founding member. Founder & President of Esra – English Speaking Residents Association (1979) and Editor of the Esra Magazine. Member of Board of Directors of National Council of Voluntarism in Israel and member of Ethics Committee. Recipient of ten awards for outstanding volunteerism including the President’s award (1992) and the Prime Minister’s shield for outstanding volunteer leadership (1999).
Rushdi Almadi
B.A. Arab Language & Literature and History (Haifa University). Former Headmaster of "Almotanabe" school in Haifa. Member of the Directorate Haifa Cultural Fund and Head of "Albait" – culture and education organization. Poet, intellectual and active in the community. His poetry & writings are published weekly

Ruth Lapidoth
Treasurer
B.A. Sociology and Education (Hebrew University). M.A. Business Administration (Bar Ilan University). From 1987 to 2004 she worked in various senior positions in the Migdal Insurance Group, including being Deputy Director.

Sandra Levy
B.S.W. (Melbourne University, Australia); M.A. in Sociology (Hebrew University). Chairperson of Neeman Association for Stroke Survivors and a founding member. Elected Vice President of Board of SAFE (Stroke Alliance for Europe). Active in other volunteer activities and organizations in Haifa. Retired a few years ago from academic staff at Haifa University School of Social Work.

Juliet Rostowsky
M.A. (Psychology) University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, B.A. and B.A. (Honours) (Psychology) University of Cape Town and University of South Africa; Post graduate education diploma, University of the Witwatersrand. Practised as a Consultant Industrial Psychologist in South Africa for twenty years. Member of Soroptimist International. Presently on the Executive Board of Esra - English Speaking Residents Association and a member of the training and strategy planning team.

Raviv Schwartz
Ph.D. (Ben Gurion University), recipient of the Kreitman Fellowship. M.A. (University of Michigan School of Social Work). B.A. (New York University), Research Fellow, Tel Aviv University's School of Government and Policy. Conducted independent research efforts on NGOs engaged in peace-building between Israelis & Palestinians and comparative aspect of conflict & peace building in the Middle Eastern, Northern Irish and Cypriot contexts. Teaches at Hebrew University's School of Social Work in a new Master's Program.

Nina Sebba
B.A. Biology (Open University). Former partner in an export business and owner of a maternity wear shop. Member of Machsom Watch, a volunteer organization, and Secretary of its Financial Committee.

Tamara Tollman
B.A. Interior Design (Iadi, Sao Paulo, Brazil); B.A. Interior Design (Institute of Fine Art, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Designer and consultant during initial years in

Hannah Uriel
B.A. Philosophy and Psychology (Tel Aviv University); Teaching Diploma of the Elderly and Group Work. Former Director of a Senior Citizens Home of Association of Jews from Central Europe. Volunteers in several organizations for the elderly.

Martin Miller
Served for many years in managerial positions at Bank Leumi. Is an active volunteer with the Israel Police (Tourist Department), and at Machon Avshalom.
